If you want to explore the beauty of Budapest from the water, there is no better way than gently rocking on the waves of the Danube aboard our ship. In this article, we would like to introduce our sightseeing boat, the Zinuru, while sharing some of its unique features.
Our ship was named after a powerful Egyptian mantra. The phrase “Zin Uru” was mentioned in the text of the Emerald Tablets, meaning “key.” It symbolizes the opening of light gates between dimensions. Another interpretation of the word refers to the recollection of the truth of complete consciousness.
Our sightseeing boat is a bold, modernly designed river catamaran, which was put into service on January 26, 2024, to provide an unforgettable experience for all our guests.
Our ship boasts impressive dimensions: 43.3 meters long and 8.5 meters wide, offering ample space for those on board. With a maximum capacity of 350 people, it is an excellent choice for both small and large groups. Zinuru was built in the Újpest Bay over long months, and we are proud to sail the Danube with a truly special, custom-designed, and locally built ship. Every element of the boat is uniquely crafted and custom-designed.

Our deck was specifically designed for enjoying the panorama: thanks to our large windows, every guest can admire the uninterrupted view. Whether it is a daytime Budapst sightseeing cruise, where Budapest’s iconic buildings unfold in their full glory, or an evening cruise, when the illuminated city paints a reflection on the water’s surface—Zinuru always provides the perfect setting for fantastic experiences.
Zinuru is not just a sightseeing boat in Budapest – it is a floating “classroom”, perfect for both exploration and relaxation. Short informational materials about the city’s landmarks are available on screens placed throughout the boat. Onboard, guests can enjoy freshly popped popcorn and, in summer, a wide selection of ice cream.

Zinuru has a total weight of 160 tons, accompanied by an impressive 450 kg anchor. Thanks to its river catamaran classification, it ensures a stable and comfortable journey, making the experience enjoyable even in wavy conditions.
Our boat is ideal for sightseeing cruises, romantic evening trips, or even exclusive seated events, lectures, and product presentations. If you want to see Budapest at its most beautiful point of view – from the water, Zinuru is the best choice!
Our dock is located in front of the iconic Parliament building, which is a breathtaking sight on its own, now completed by the magnificent Zinuru in the panorama.
The departure point is at Batthyány Square, at dock 1/B on the Buda side. The boat is easily accessible by public transport. You can reach Batthyány Square by trams 19 and 41, buses 11, 111, and 139, or the M2 metro line.
